Found this cover today. Sungha Jung did the arrangement. :)
Can I just say, I absolutely love the song Blue and this cover. But of course, it's a Sungha Jung arrangement, so it's definitely epic. I don't know why, but I just love this song so much. Fell in love with it the first time I unknowingly played it, and it has been this way ever seen.

So, my friend from Shanghai has come to Malaysia to visit me again. :)  His name is John. I've known him for years, actually. He's so tall now! I still remember when I used to be taller than him, and I would snidely chuckle at his height, and he would chase me around to whack me. Haha, memories. Well, he's really tall now. Must be from all the intense basketball training. He didn't seem that tanned though, as my other basketball obsessed friend seemed to be.

Anyway, I was napping on my couch with Two & a Half Men still on repeat while I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Then I felt someone shaking me, like really hard, and out of annoyance, I moved to the side, still in the daze of sleep, and told the anonymous shaker to go away. That person continued shaking me, and by the time I opened my eyes, in growing irritation, I saw him and instantaneously woke up. First thing I said was "Aren't you supposed to be in Shanghai?"
Well, that was a dumbass question. I just realized I'm full of dumbass questions, just to satisfy my insatiable curiosity that's constantly pulsing at the oddest moments.

Haha, anyway, he's sleeping over and we're going out to watch The Vow tomorrow with Darren, Valerie, Denise and Julian! I've missed all my best friends. :)
To think back, I've honestly lost count of however many times I've woken up to a grinning friend right in my face, for a surprise visit. I think it's happened for about 7 times, already? I think Jane's did that to me for like 3 times, in fact. Haha, oh well, miss all those moments.
I have to aim for at least 9As in SPM, then I can get my Honda Civic. :D  Too bad procrastination will be the death of me.

So, a lot of things happened these few days. I expanded my already incredible shopping ability, wrote out more long-winded musings on Word, discovered an incredible relationship with food, developed a steady lasting love for Black Milk, discovered even more wonders of online shopping, made tons of new friends and I even discovered a fellow Black Milk sharkie in Malaysia! :)

I don't know why everyone's so eager to read my short story. I honestly feel that my story is flinty and has less substance than the ones my friends wrote for Lit. They wrote about undying love and whatnot, mine's about smoking weed and hallucinating about wonderland! My friends told me that their stories are typical, and is less unique, but honestly, I feel that it's typical for a reason. Typical means acceptance. If it's typical, then it means it's accepted, no? Unique is unique, for a reason. It means that it's something new, something that breaches the boundaries of ordinary and acceptance. Unique may be the new hype and all, but who's to say that it might be good? People seek for uniqueness, they request for uniqueness, and sure, it sounds mighty fine and all, but who's to say that it's gonna be good? Unique only means special or out of the ordinary; it does automatically offer the assurance that it's good.

Well, that was a long-winded attempt to undermine my story.
I feel like posting it here, but well, it's kinda weird, and it's definitely unique.
But I have no idea if it's in a good way, or not.
K, ciao, I shall go and continue developing my relationship with food. Oh, how I love food. It never lets me down. It never lies to me. I think I might break up with food once I get on the weight scale though. Oh well...

YOLO.
HAHAHA! YOLO's gonna be comeback for everything!

Got this book today.

"Once on a yellow piece of paper with green lines,
he wrote a poem,
and he called it 'Chops',
because that was the name of his dog,
And that was what it was all about.
And his teacher gave him an A,
and a gold star,
and his mother hung it on the kitchen door,
and read it to his aunts.

Once on a piece of white paper with blue lines,
he wrote a poem,
and he called it 'Autumn',
because that was the name of the season,
and that was what it was all about.
And his teacher gave him an A,
and told him to write more clearly,
and his mother never hung it on the kitchen door,
because of its new paint.

Once on a paper torn from a notebook,
he wrote a poem,
and he called it 'Innocence: A Question',
because that was the question about his girl.
And that was what it was all about,
and his professor gave him an A,
and a strange steady look,
and his mother never hung it on the kitchen door,
because he never showed her.

That's why on the back of a brown paper bag,
he tried another poem,
and he called it 'Absolutely Nothing',
because that was what it was really all about.
And he gave himself an A,
and a slash on each damned wrist,
and he hung it on the bathroom door,
because this time,
he didn't think he could reach the kitchen door."

"But because things change. And friends leave. And life doesn't stop for anybody."

"And nobody felt sad because we could postpone tomorrow with more nostalgia."

"And in that moment, I swear we were infinite."

"Everyone else is either asleep or having sex. I've been watching cable television and eating jello."

"I even made her a mix tape and left it on her grave. I hope you do not think that makes me weird."

The Perks of Being a Wallflower was an amazing book. I finished it in 2 hours and I started getting really emotional. I loved how openly this book talked about suicide, depression, drug abuse and so on. I also liked how although everyone was so fucked up, they loved each other. I liked how openly they could talk with each other. Truly a fresh perspective to view the world with.

Just came back from The Curve with Chok Yan.
We watched The Hunger Games and shopped around. Omg, The Hunger Games was absolutely amazing! I hyperventilated when Alexander Ludwig first appeared on the screen. WHY MUST THEY KILL HIM OFF WHY WHY WHY I'VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH HIM SINCE I WAS THIRTEEN WHY.
Okay.... hahaha.
Well, it was fun. :)  Now, me and Chok Yan have matching Alexander McQueen purses, matching cross rings, matching feather hairbands and matching black printed singlets.
And somebody mistaken us as sisters! I swear, this happens every time we go out.

My gold cuffs, hehehehe.

Well, in a nutshell, The Hunger Games was absolutely epic.
So glad I skipped studying for my exams to watch this. I probably won't be so glad when I receive my results slip, though. I know I had my qualms about Josh Hutcherson being Peeta Mellark, but I'm kinda glad he was. If Alexander Ludwig got the role of Peeta Mellark instead, I think I probably would have gotten seriously jealous and break down in tears if I see him and Katniss kiss. Not that I normally do that, but well, he's an exception, haha.

Lol, k, off to Empire for dinner. Ciao.

And in that moment, I swear we were infinite.
- The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Watching The Hunger Games at the Curve with Chok Yan tomorrow. I'm so excited. I'll be devastated to see Cato die though, I absolutely adore Alexander Ludwig. I've been in love with him since I was 13, after watching Race To Witch Mountain. Josh Hutcherson is good looking too, but I don't like him with blond hair. He looked super good in dark hair in the movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. But oh well.

If you somehow need me,
you will find me in the backyard,
beneath the drooping willow tree.
My knees cheek to cheek with the earth,
planting trees to make up for the amount of paper I've wasted,
and life I've killed,
writing about you,
and your blue eyes.
Blue eyes that are too shallow to be compared to the magnificence of the sea.
Blue eyes the color of a pool contaminated with cheap dye.
My eyes watering it,
my lips whispering strangled words, giving it life,
and when it grows, I'll still have a part of you,
which is more than anything I've received,
but, this time, my heart will be strong;
I'll be fine.

#17.

Sorry for the constant updates today, guys.
Just want to share this quote with you. I found this on Tumblr and I actually really loved it.

我心匪石,不可转也。我心匪席,不可卷也。死生契阔,于子成说。执子之手,与子偕老。

I finished reading 晴空 by 奈奈, and I cried so hard. I'm actually used to crying this hard while reading these sort of novels, but it was just so sad. The vocabulary in this book is extremely advanced and even some of my friends who are extremely excellent in Mandarin couldn't explain certain words to me. But then, after the first few chapters, I got used to it and began to understand 100% of the vocab.

This story is actually extremely sad. 奈奈 is a very good writer, hats off to her.
Gonna post some of my favorite quotes from her book.

Oh, and this is my favorite.

Sorry for the excess overload of Mandarin words, guys. But for those who like reading Mandarin books, I advise you to read this book. Legit one of the best books I've read, and I've read hundreds. When the guy, 乔欢, got Alzheimer's, I almost cried my eyes out. And yes, I know, Alzheimer's disease is generally diagnosed in people who are 65 years and above, and this guy's only 20, but apparently, he has a family hereditary disease, and apparently, if it's genetic, people who are really young can also get diagnosed with it, though of course, it's not that common.  安冉's story is so sad too. Can't wait for the next book to come out!

Cross of St Peter black leggings.

Oh, Black Milk, what curse have you inflicted on me?
Just a few days ago, I was perfectly content with my purple galaxies, and wanted nothing else. Then I got introduced to the Black Milk sharkies, shared heated reviews with other strangers, complimented and squealed over other Sharkies over how awesome Black Milk is, and now, I'm officially addicted to you. As if my wallet didn't already had a hole permanently burned onto it.

Oh well. I'm really proud to have joined the Black Milk sharkies family. Nice to know that there are thousands of people all over the world as obsessed with Black Milk as I am.
Alright, time to start studying Physics and Chemistry, plus do my Add Math work. :)
Oh, and congrats to all the ex Form 5 students who received their results! For those who got straight As, I'm super envious of you, seriously. You're officially free of high school, plus you have super awesome results with you too.

Random picture of the day!

Today started out fine, I received this email.

pic.twitter.com/zJJeMyW

They actually sent me a much longer email than that, just that I can't be bothered to print screen everything. That email actually made my day. Can't believe I'm getting my Black Milk purple galaxy leggings!

I'm gonna wait for Black Milk to restock this, then I'll get this too.

Cross of St Peter black leggings!
Haha yes, I don't know why I like everything with the cross printed on it. I have several cross rings, cross necklaces, cross tops, cross earrings, studded cross shorts, cross bags and the list goes on. This isn't actually the actual crucifix, it's the inverted one, the one that the apostle Peter was crucified on. Biblical history is actually quite fascinating.

I find it hilarious how after I rant about Black Milk and get obsessed over them, some of my friends start getting obsessed as well. Lol, okay, whatever. And even some people who I have no idea who they are, send me messages saying "Thanks for introducing me to Black Milk!" Shit. I think I just extended the family.
Btw, everybody is currently raving over The Hunger Games. I liked it all the way back in 2010, before it became so bloody mainstream. Not that I'm objecting its fame or whatever, I'm just stating a fact.

Listening to Seungri's What Can I Do, and can I just say that he looks super hot in the music video. L from INFINITE is still my ultimate bias, though. That boy can melt even the coldest hearts with his eyes, goddammit. Oh, and the last episode of Dream High 2 airs tonight! I'm still kinda miffed that the ultimate couple won't be together though, and I was so certain! Normally, in Korean dramas, I never get the coupling scheme wrong, because it's always so bloody obvious. The lead guy always gets the lead girl. But in this show, noooo, apparently they have to make it the bloody opposite.

Okay, ciao.

In a productive mood today, and I feel like doing the ASOS Rucksack challenge. Anyone interested in doing it with me? It's simple, really, just snap a picture of the items in your rucksack, displayed out for everyone to see, and the most creative entries get featured! Email your pics to myrucksack@asos.com.

Here's some of my favorite entries:

 \
I like how creatively messy this was. The other entries were too neat to the point of slight annoyance and disbelief. This was messy, but in a slight disheveled way, which I like.

I think one of the reasons why I love this one is because of the Star Wars notebook and the ingenious idea of the ASOS wallpaper on the iPhone.

I'm gonna do mine after my 1st term exams and submit it to ASOS.

Oh, and just a quick picture.

pic.twitter.com/53sxaOg

I approve. Hahahaha.
That picture above was not mine btw, I use Maxis, plus my mother would never utter the dreaded word of "counseling". "Counseling" is a life or death term that is not to be treated lightly in my household, as it shows abnormal perspectives in my otherwise benign household.

Alright, ciao!

Outfit of the day.

There's absolutely nothing to eat in this house and I'm starving. Sadly, this is a very normal occurrence. Ugh, I'm so so so so hungry that I wanna keel over. I actually had a slight flu these few days, and thanks to it, my appetite has greatly decreased. I used to have a very small appetite when I was a kid up till I was 12, then I don't know why once I entered my teen years, I started eating like a deranged animal.

Went to Alpha Colors for service today. Hehe, even with heels, Joyce is still shorter than me. She's actually not that short, but even with super high heels, she's still shorter. She's so lucky. I wanna wear super high heels too, without feeling like some giant.
K, gonna edit yearbook photos while playing Draw Something now. Ciao.

So, I just got back from Ipoh half an hour ago. It was alright. I was chilling at my cousin's house and I bumped my leg against the bed once and I don't know why but I have two freaking cuts on my legs. I was thoroughly baffled but well, whatever. Anyway, I just discovered a brand, I don't know if you heard of them, but if you follow enough hipsters on tumblr, you'd see them wearing this brand's clothing more than necessary. It's called Black Milk Clothing and they're from Australia. And let me tell you, everything they sell is one of a kind and gorgeous.

I'm getting the pair of galaxy purple leggings shown above next week! It's extremely pricey, but well, it's so worth it. It's so flashy though, but in a good way. Btw, the galaxy print is actually from a photo taken by NASA of an actual galaxy which is seriously cool.

I actually really love this too. It's actually a swimsuit but it can be worn as a body suit, just pair it with a piece of high-waisted shorts or skirt.

Gorgeous, huh? Can't wait to receive my parcel when it ships from Australia! Oh, and did I mention that I adore the model's shoes? Jeffrey Campbell shoes are legend, seriously. Too bad I can't wear Jeffrey Campbell shoes without feeling like a giant. Well, whatever.

Great song to listen to when you're fucking pissed off.
Well, that's how I feel right now.
Choice lyrics: Some of those who wear forces, are the same that burn crosses. Those who died are justified, for wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites. You justify those who died by wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites. Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me.
Not very healthy, but for an extremely pissed off person like me, it works.

Xenocide- Orson Scott Card.

And I don't know why I keep trying.
Helplessness is overwhelming me in every single insignificant matter, no matter how insignificant, rending my thoughts incoherent and my feelings intangible, an ever ending swirl of emotions I try hard to control, to no avail. I assure myself that they are insignificant and they do not concern me in any way, but nevertheless, the fine distinction between caring and not caring seems to have faded, and no one looks between the lines anymore.

Went to Sunway today and hung out with Sam, Kim, Catrina and Jude. It was fun. Had lunch at Full House and went shopping. Bought a bunch of stuff, hahah. I'll post some pictures now!

Outfit of the day.

Hahah.

Gorgeous shoes, no? I'm absolutely in love with nude pumps right now. Too bad I felt like a freaking giant when I wore it. My height is 170cm, so with these shoes on, I felt like I was 176 cm. Sigh. :(

pic.twitter.com/uoiY2Ke
Another close up on these gorgeous shoes, hehe. :3

Sam's hilarious face.

Wore this last night, after spending 4 grueling hours on Add Math, for supper with Darren, Valerie and Josh. Went to this super cold cafe at Subang, thus the thick knit sweater.

pic.twitter.com/REimfYa
Got this adorable hat for about RM20 at Forever 21 today. Catrina and I went beserk when we saw 'em and we tried tons of 'em on. I luckily managed to snag the last black one. :3

Okay, I'm tired now. Ciao.

#6.

Damn, my entire resolve is changing.
Like all my previous (deleted) blog posts, I have always ranted about Dream High 2 and was absolutely insistent about Hae Sung and Yoo Jin to end up together. But now... I'm not so sure. I was so resolved from episode 1, but after watching episode 12, I'm thoroughly pissed off at Hae Sung and I actually want Yoo Jin to end up with the gorgeous antagonist, Rian.

Watch the video above. Yoo Jin and Rian have such good chemistry together. I used to hate Rian (cause she's a huge bitch) but now I kinda sympathize with her.

Their voices (Yoo Jin aka Jinwoon & Rian aka Jiyeon) blend together so perfectly. Recently, Dream High 2 has been showing a lot of Hae Sung and JB scenes, and while I opposed them vehemently at first, I actually realize that those 2 should be together. This TV series should dump 'em and focus more on Yoo Jin and Rian. I know this seems harsh, but I'm seriously angry at Hae Sung. She's so useless and stupid and she can't sing and her voice makes me want to shit bricks and her stupid innocent expressions make me want to pull her hair out. And the fact that she's getting so couple-y with JB while thoroughly ignoring Yoo Jin (WHO ORIGINALLY LIKED HER IN THE FIRST PLACE) makes me so angry and IT'S TOTALLY RUINING THE SHOW FOR ME.

Hae Sung's character actually gotten much better starting from episode 6, but now, it's worsened again. One thing that confuses me about this show is that the plot is so bloody confusing and they keep spinning around in circles and I still have no fucking idea what this show is about. Sure, it had its awesome moments, it had its cute moments etc etc, but I need substance. I don't want flinty ideas flying here and there. I want a specific plot line that I can STICK TO AND ENJOY. Is it that hard, script writers? We're not asking you to deliver Mars on a platter, we're just asking you to not make us devoted Dream High 2 fans start to be irritated at this show.

I mean, in Dream High 1, Suzy (the lead character) was brilliant. She could act, she was MUCH PRETTIER than Hae Sung and omg, her voice? Her voice is so amazing, it could literally stop passer-bys on the street. But Hae Sung? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... no. Her voice is so terrible and what's the point? Isn't Dream High all about singing and performing with a hint of romance? What's the point if the cast of Dream High 2 can sing so well but the lead actress is so terrible in singing?

And I guess it doesn't hurt that Yoo Jin and Rian are such a good looking couple. They're both so good looking and the chemistry between the 2 of them is abundant. JB and Hae Sung? HAHAHAHAHAHA... no. JB's good looking but Hae Sung? Her annoying huge lips piss the hell out of me and did I mention, I ABSOLUTELY HATE HER VOICE?
If this continues on, I'm gonna start supporting Yoo Jin and Rian. It's kinda sad cause just a few weeks ago, I was defending Yoo Jin and Hae Sung, and saying they were the perfect couple. Guess the following episodes proved me wrong. Ugh, now I'm pissed off again. Rant over.

I really feel like going skydiving again. I miss the feeling I get when I'm up in the air.
Hmm, I think I'll go skydiving this April, after my first term examinations.
It won't be free-fall but it'll be a static line jump. I want to do free-fall once I get my skydiving license; then hopefully I can do tandem with my friends, just like I did last August with Darren, Valerie and Ean. Dayummm, those were good times.

Watched INFINITE's CF for the Samsung Galaxy Player thingy... I shall write down my following reactions.

"Hmm... okay. It's starting now."
"Oh my god."
"OMG! L, YOU'RE SO HOT. OMG OMG OMG."
"OMG YOU'RE DANCING."
"OMG YOU'RE ACTUALLY SMILING."
"I LOVE YOU."
I REALLY LOVE YOU."
"SHIT FUCK SHITTTTTTT AHHHHHHH SO HOT."
"Uh... wait, why is he dancing like that?"
"Shit, WHY is he dancing like that?"
"Bro, I love you and you're hot and all, but seriously? Why did you wave the player like that?"
"*flinches in embarrassment* Dude, you did whaaat?"
"Oh wait, he stopped dancing already. He's talking now."
"Omg he's actually talking... omg he talks so sexy-like."
"Omg I take back what I said about his dancing, he's so hottttt."
"FUCK DID HE JUST WAVE AND WINK AT THE SCREEN?"
"I don't really understand what he just said but fuck it, he's hot so IDGAF."
"AHHHH I LOVE YOU, L!"

Hahah. So those were my concluding thoughts. I must say, they aren't very mature and very... fangirl-like. I swear, being a fangirl really reduces a person's maturity level. If seeing a certain someone makes you hyperventilate and lose all sense of reason, I don't see the extent of how down to earth you can be. But of course, that shouldn't be anything drastic, really, because practically everyone I know has someone they adore, and if adoring that person makes you lose all sense of reason, then so be it.

Anyway, you can watch it here!

Biology test tomorrow. :(

I have found a new inspiration:
ASOS gold cuffs.

Image 1 of ASOS Hammered Double Cuffs
Image 3 of ASOS Hammered Double Cuffs

I don't know why, but the whole medallion warrior thing going on in this accessory is seriously appealing. I think ASOS might be my favorite new fashion fix after Supre. I wasn't remotely certain about this gold cuff look at first, I thought it looked too flashy, too... tacky. But then, after hearing about ravenous reviews from my fellow shopping addicted friends and after reading some of my favorite fashion bloggers' reviews, I decided to give it a shot and buy them. It costs about 18 pounds, and it's still available at ASOS! So far, I quite like the cuffs. They might look a bit flashy, but they can really put a bit of bling in any understated outfit. A pleased 5 star rating!

All of you guys should watch this.
Not trying to jump on the bandwagon or anything, but seriously, this video is inspiring and definitely worth every second used to watch this video.
The part of the video, at 7 minutes and 11 seconds, was so heartbreaking.

Found this gorgeous backpack at ASOS yesterday.
:
My fashion blogger icon, Morven Smith, actually has the same one!

Gorgeous bag, isn't it? Totally brings out the tribal spirit in practically all of us. The mexicana touch does no harm either. I'm considering getting this bag, though it's seriously pricey. /:  It sells out super fast on ASOS though, so I'll have to make a snap decision.

Updated: I just got the bag! It cost me 45 pounds and my heart's still hurting from this frivolous spending, but I'm practically certain that it'll be worth it. Spotted any more trends on ASOS, anyone?

I don't know about you guys, but my latest obsession is ear cuffs.
They're so bloody gorgeous, I feel like spending all my money on 'em.
..... Which is exactly what I did, hee.
I'll show you guys some pictures of the ear cuffs I got. I bought 'em from ASOS

These ear cuffs are all so gorgeous. Once they arrive in Malaysia and are sent to me, I think I'll probably start wearing them non-stop. Lol, as if my ears aren't over-accessorized already. Oh, and for those who love ear cuffs like me, but do not want to shop at ASOS or do not prefer online shopping, they have ear cuffs at Forever 21! Saw 'em at the jewelry section 2 days ago. :)  Oh, and the Forever 21 ones are defo cheaper than the ASOS ones.
